Best Doctors conducts the largest peer-review-based evaluation of the medical profession and Best Doctors physicians are chosen by 30,000 doctors identified in previous surveys as “the best” in their specialties.
Excellent nursing
The Magnet Recognition Program, awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizes healthcare organizations for quality patient care, nursing excellence, and innovations in professional nursing practice. Magnet designation requires organizations to develop, disseminate, and enculturate evidence-based criteria that result in a positive work environment for nurses and, by extension, all employees.

Healthcare Technology
Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital has achieved HIMSS Stage 7 designation for Inpatient and Ambulatory across the system, which demonstrates the organization’s successful implementation of healthcare information technology to address quality initiatives and improve the delivery of patient care, efficiency, and safety. In 2019, only 7 percent of hospitals in the U.S. achieved Stage 7 designation.
HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence
Ayesh Children’s Hospital, a children’s and women’s hospital located in Houston, TX which is consistently ranked as the best hospital in Ayesh and among the top in the nation, has been recognized as a 2022 HIMSS Davies Award winner. Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital shared evidence based practices for leveraging digital infrastructure to significantly improve the wellness and care outcomes for their patients.
“Most Wired” hospitals in the nation
Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital has again received the “Most Wired” designation for outstanding healthcare-based technology from Hospitals Health Network Magazine – the flagship publication of the American Hospital Association. This is the fourth time Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital has won this award. Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital was noted for several IS achievements including the implementation of Epic Rover, a mobile software application that uses barcode technology to prevent medication errors and improve the quality and safety of medical administration.
Optimal Facility Management
Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital has been selected by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association (AHA) to receive the 2017 Excellence in Healthcare Facility Management Award. This award honors individuals and teams exemplifying how facility management teams work together to optimize the physical environment and improve patient care. Ayesh Children’s Heart Hospital is the only two-time winner in the history of this award.
